Mazi Nwonwu

Chiagozie Fred Nwonwu, who writes under the pen name of Mazi Nwonwu, is a Lagos-based journalist and writer. While journalism and its demands take up much of his time, when he can, Nwonwu writes speculative fiction, which he believes is a vehicle through which he can transport Africa’s diverse cultures to the future. His work has appeared in Lagos 2060 (Nigeria’s first science fiction anthology), AfroSF (the first pan-African science fiction anthology), Sentinel Nigeria, Brittle Paper, African Writer, Saraba Magazine, and It Wasn’t Exactly Love, an anthology on sex and sexuality published by Farafina in 2015.

Chinelo Onwualu

Chinelo Onwualu is a Nigerian writer and editor living in Toronto, Canada. She is a graduate of the 2014 Clarion West Writers Workshop, which she attended as the recipient of the Octavia E. Butler Scholarship. Her writing has appeared in Uncanny, Strange Horizons, and The Kalahari Review.

Iquo DianaAbasi

Iquo DianaAbasi is a Nigerian story teller, performance poet and editor. Her collection of poems, Symphony of Becoming’, was shortlisted for the Nigeria Literature Prize, The Wole Soyinka Prize for Literature and Association of Nigerian Authors Poetry prize. Her writing has been widely anthologized and published in online journals and print. Iquo lives in Lagos, where she writes scripts for radio, and works as an editor.

Godson ChukwuEmeka Okeiyi

Godson ChukwuEmeka Okeiyi is a graphic artist and a visual media and communication strategist with over 14 years experience. He has a Masters degree in Strategic communication from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. His creations include the iconic Unity bank logo and more recently the National Peace Committee logo. He has worked for Baraka Press, Sound and Vision Communications, Espee Printing & Advertising and virtual Insignia. He lives in Kaduna with his wife and children.

Sunny Efemena

Sunny Efemena was born in Delta State, Nigeria and attended Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi, receiving an OND in Painting and General Arts in 2000 and an HND in Painting 2003 .He taught A level art for 5years at Oxbridge Tutorial College, Ikeja, Edgewood College, Lekki and Grenville Schools, Ikeja all in Lagos, Nigeria. Ever since he has been working as a freelance illustrator for numerous Advertising Agencies like Lowe lintas, Noah’s Ark, Centerspread Grey, to mention a few. A mentor at Public Art Africa an arm of UR4Africa(Public Art Africa is a youth led organization and an initiative of UR4Africa, a Pan Africa media company that focuses on teaching, producing and distributing positive Africa content that is unique) His body of work ranges from digital illustrations to comic art, to traditional paintings on both canvas and watercolor. Had a collaborative exhibition with the group of classmates who finished same year (2014) at the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja titled “Auchi Storms Abuja “in which he did mostly watercolors. And some of his works were exhibited at the Lagos Comic Con (2016), Lagos, Nigeria Many of his illustrations and paintings can be seen on Ello | The Creators Network.and other social networks.
